House sewer>lateral sewer>sub main (branch) > main sewer (trunk sewer) > outfall sewer. So how the answer is trunk sewer? Please tell me.

The flow line is as:-
House->Lateral->Main->Trunk->Outfall.
In between Main and Trunk, there is intercepting sewer to carry rain stormwater when the flow exceeds via a leaping weir.

Branch sewers typically run under streets receiving laterals from buildings along that street and discharge by gravity into trunk sewers at manholes.
