As per my knowledge, the right option should be (E) none of these.

Overflow rate for the sedimentation tank is 1000 - 1250 litres/sqm/hour or 24000 - 30000 litres/sqm/hour.

The given answer option C is correct.
For Sedimentary tanks using coagulant- 50000 to 60000.
For plain primary sedimentation tanks- 40000 to 50000.
For secondary sedimentation tank - 25000 to 35000.

Option A is for secondary sendimentaion.
