Critical activies are the activities which if delayed, then whole project gets delayed. Here, we are assuming that some events can only start after previous one are finished.
Thus, if A gets delayed then C will be delayed and following which E will be delayed leading to project delay. Similar, can be said for C and E.

Option C Will be the answer because any delay in A cause delay in C and Any delay in C cause a delay in E and then the project will be delayed so critical activities are A-C and E.

For (E) : if not finished in time will delay the end of the project.
For (B) : (B) has the same start of (f) and any delay in (B) will delay (f) will delay the end of the project.
