Option 2 is wrong. Because for har rock formation, it is not easy to obtain sample.
Option 3 is correct, because samples enclosed in container is safe to delivery and obtain.

Chunk samples can be obtained from all types of soil, at any depth, including pebbles etc.
To contain undisturbed soil rugged container is the best.
So, option C will be correct.
