The Answer should be A.

Larger size of aggregate is more workable than the smaller size of aggregate because, smaller size aggregate requires more quantity of water for lubrication however, the smaller size aggregates provides large surface area for bonding with the mortar matrix. Which increases the compressive strength and reduces the stress concentration in the mortar- aggregate interface.
