Shear stress @xy plane is zero.
The principle stress is = [100+(-50)]/2 +- [100-(-50)]/2.
= 100,-50.
The principle stress is = [100+(-50)]/2 +- [100-(-50)]/2.
= 100,-50.

First point =(Ex+Ey)/2 + (Ex-Ey)/2 = 25+75 = 100.
Second point= (Ex+Ey)/2 - (Ex-Ey)/2 = 25-75 = -50.
Second point= (Ex+Ey)/2 - (Ex-Ey)/2 = 25-75 = -50.
