Here E=h+v^2/2g.

Specific energy define as channel bed to TEL head and its =y^2 + v^2/2g and v calculate by continuity equation Q=av hence option D is correct.

We have E = h+v^2/2g
Here B=2.5m, H = 2m and Q = 10m^3/s.
q = Q/B = 10/2.5 = 4m^2/s.
V = q/h = 4/2 = 2m/s.
E = 2+2^2/(2*9.8) = 2.2m.
Here B=2.5m, H = 2m and Q = 10m^3/s.
q = Q/B = 10/2.5 = 4m^2/s.
V = q/h = 4/2 = 2m/s.
E = 2+2^2/(2*9.8) = 2.2m.

Emin = 3/2Yc,
Yc=(q2/g)^(1/3),
q=Q/B.
Yc=(q2/g)^(1/3),
q=Q/B.
