Please explain,

Then 100 mm thick slab maximum reinforcement is 100/8 = 12.5.

This means 12 mm.

Is it right or wrong?

Since the decimal point(9.4) is less than 10 so it cannot be rounded to 10mm.

As per IS 456 2000.

Max diameter of bar is 1/8*slab thickness.
So 75/8 = 9.4 mm.
So 10 mm diameter use.
We should use higher dia nearest to 9.4 mm.
