Volumertic strain(1d stress) = dl/l+db/b+dd/d.
= longitudinal strain + 2lateral strain.


Poisson ratio=lateral strain/longitudinal strain
Lateral strain=u* longitudinal strain
Volumetric strain = Longitudinal strain(1-2u)
stress=Estrain.

longitudinal stress cylinder =pd/4t,
Change in diameter/diameter= pd/4tE(1-2u).
The Change in diameter=pd^2/4tE(1-2u).
