F = (F1+F2)/2.
F1 = ρgh1×A(h1-h2).
F2 = ρgh2×A(h1-h2).
So, the answer will come closer to 38kN/m.
F1 = ρgh1×A(h1-h2).
F2 = ρgh2×A(h1-h2).
So, the answer will come closer to 38kN/m.

Option C is correct.
force = Y*(y2-y1)^3/y1y2
= 9810 * 2.4^3/ 3*0.6.
= 38.
force = Y*(y2-y1)^3/y1y2
= 9810 * 2.4^3/ 3*0.6.
= 38.

Force per unit width = 4.905*(d1 - d2)^3/(d1+d2).
So, B is the correct answer.
