Gm = Yb/Yw, Yb= 1.35 x9. 81= 13.24.
Since the soil is dry Yb= GYw/1+e, S=0,
13.24=2.7x9.81/1+e,
e =1.
Since the soil is dry Yb= GYw/1+e, S=0,
13.24=2.7x9.81/1+e,
e =1.

Since yd = (G/1+e)Yw,
But Yd/Yw= Gm,
Therefore Gm=(G/1+e).
But Yd/Yw= Gm,
Therefore Gm=(G/1+e).

e = {G/m)-1.
e = (2.7/1.35)-1.
e = 2-1.
e = 1.
e = (2.7/1.35)-1.
e = 2-1.
e = 1.

Gm = Gs / (1+e).
1+e = Gs / Gm.
e = (Gs/ Gm) -1.
e = (2.7/1.35)-1.
e = 1.
1+e = Gs / Gm.
e = (Gs/ Gm) -1.
e = (2.7/1.35)-1.
e = 1.
