Here U~V ( strain energy is proportional to volume).
V = v1 + VW.
Va = 282.73cm^3.
Vb = 188.49cm^3.
Therefore Ub/Ua = 0.67(2/3).
V = v1 + VW.

Find the Volume of both the bars = Area * Length.
For the first volume is (π/4 * 2^2 * 10)+(π/4 * 4^2 * 20).
For the first volume is (π/4 * 2^2 * 10)+(π/4 * 4^2 * 20).
