For rectangular C/s section it is- 1/18 th of BD.

Core for circular is a circle of radius R/4 and that for a rectangle is rhombus of diagnol d/3 and b/3. The area of a rhombus with its diagonals = D1*D2/2.

Therefore A/18 is correct.
