e=h²/2l.
Where h= 50cm= 0.5m.
Total length =100m,
l = 50m.
So, 100m tape is divided into 2 section.
Total error = 2×h^²/2l= h^²/l.
= (0.5)^²/50= 0.005m.
Ratio = Total error/Total length,
= 0.005/100.
= 1/20,000 (C) is the correct answer.
