Closing error is given by:
ΣL south - ΣL north = 0.
ΣD east - ΣD west = 0.
So Closing error will lie in the southeast quadrant.
ΣL south - ΣL north = 0.
ΣD east - ΣD west = 0.
So Closing error will lie in the southeast quadrant.

L=N-S S=1+N.
L=-1.
D=E-D E=1+W.
D=1.
(-,+) 4TH co-ordinate N-W.
