a) the first sight taken on changing point is foresight not back sight.
b) the second sight on any changing point is back sight not foresight.
c) line commences with a backsight and ends with a foresight.
So, d is correct, a , b ,c are given oppositely. make ur concept clear.

Before shifting the instrument the last sight is foresight which is taken on change point. After shifting the instrument the first sight taken is taken on the same change point i.e back sight.

Given answer is right.

Option A is not correct. It's given that 1st sight in a change point.

If it would given that the 1st sight of leveling operation then it could be correct.

1, 2, and 4 is right.

Here question about change point's first reading not about first reading of station.

Because at the change point staff will be held at the same place and telescope have taken from one point to another point.

So in this case first reading at change point will be last reading of telescope station which is actually fore bearing.

According to me, A and D both are right.

According to me, 124 are correct, and 3rd is wrong.

1 2 3 are correct 4 are wrong.

Actually, we have to see the incorrect one, first 3 are correct only d is wrong.
