One end fixed and other partially = 1/sqt 2 = 0.707 l and one end fixed and other free = 1.2 l.
0.707/1.2 = 0.6. So option B is more suitable.
0.707/1.2 = 0.6. So option B is more suitable.

Fixed and partial = 1.5L = 3/2 L.
Fixed free = 2 L,
3/2 ÷ 2 = 3/2×2 = 3/4.
Fixed free = 2 L,
3/2 ÷ 2 = 3/2×2 = 3/4.
