What is octa hedral shear stress?

Shear stresses on the octa hedral plane of the body.

Give me the correct explanation.
Nagaraju said: (Jan 9, 2017)
|According to von Mises theorem for an uniaxial condition octahedral shear stress = yield stress ÷3 * square root of 2.
= 100 x root 2.

Shear stress= √ 2* (yield stress/3).
