Ductile materials (like steel) undergo significant plastic deformation before failure. Their stress-strain curve shows a long plastic region after yielding. Brittle materials (like glass, cast iron, concrete) fail suddenly after the elastic limit.

The stress-strain curve ends quickly with almost no plastic deformation. A perfectly rigid material is an idealisation; it doesn't deform (strain = 0) under any load. Since there’s no deformation at all, there’s no elastic or plastic zone. Hence, all the above statements are true.

How many days required to get the strength of m20 grade concrete? Please give me the answer.

I think the answer is only 1 and 3.

Because brittle material also has some elastic zone.
