Ratio of M/T:
M = ((PY)*D^3)/32.
T = ((PY)*D^3)/16.
Cancel the above ratio (M/T) = 2M/T will come out.
M = ((PY)*D^3)/32.
T = ((PY)*D^3)/16.
Cancel the above ratio (M/T) = 2M/T will come out.

Maximum bending stress = 32M/(pi)D*D*D.
Maximum shear stress = 16T/(pi)D*D*D.
Ratio of both gives the answer 2M/T.
Maximum shear stress = 16T/(pi)D*D*D.
Ratio of both gives the answer 2M/T.
