Calculate horizontal and vertical reactions of supports. Both happen to be same. The resultant of them will be a tensile force. That means, there is a tensile force which can resist compressive force at any section.

It transfers the load above it to the abutments on either end which means the force is compressive and must be resisted by an arch.

Answer is D. 3 hinge arch subjected to udl has zero BM through out. So it will resist BM.
