Can Anyone explain critical section for diamond riveting?

There is border of the diamond rivet that mean it's the first row at that point maxi. Shear stress occurs, so it's the weakest point of the diamond rivet is the first row.

All the explanations are not upto the mark.

Let Strength of each bolt = 100KN.

I. Critical state of 1st sec= (600/100) = 6.

--->600KN.

II. Critical state of 2nd sec = (600-100/100+100) = 2.5.

(since 100KN load is taken by 1st bolt, net load transferred to second section = 600-100).

III. Critical state of 3rd sec = (500-200/100+100+100) = 1.

Critical condition of a bolt = (load applied/strength of bolt.

Hence first section is critical section (6>2. 5>1).

Anyone have link to explain this diamond rivet entering first row? Picture or video.

Section in first row is weakest because shear strength in first row is of only. 1 Rivet and in second row shear strength is of 2 rivets and further increasing.

Could you please tell me how is the diamond riveting?

Weakest section in riveting at which maximum stress are developed and in a diamond riveting, it is first row.
