According to Indian standard, it is Perry Robertson and according to British, it is Secant formula.
The version of IS 800 before 1984, it was Secant formula for Indian standard.
In the 1984 version, it was Merchant Rankine formula.
But the latest version, in IS 800 2007, it is Perry Robertson formula. Therefore the correct answer is E.

Merchant rankine Formula is correct.
Secant formula used before 1984. IS 800 1984 has been applicable to merchant formula.
