Slenderness ratio of compression member is effective length to least radius of gyration (textbook:steel structures and timber structures: author:V. N. Vazirani).

Please give explanation if above answer is wrong.
Thank you.

Slenderness ratio of a compression member is defined as the ratio of effective length to the least radius of gyration of that member.

Slenderness ratio = effective length/least radius of gyration.

All options are wrong.

We know that slenderness ratio = l/r. So where the option answer is wrong.

The answer will be = Effective length/Radius of gyration.

Slenderness ratio of a compression member has defined as the ratio its effective length to least radius of gyration. According to {MEADE-EASY}.

S.R = kl/r.

Here k is a factor depend on joints connection and l means effective length and r mean tedious of gyration.

The above option is incorrect because;

Slenderness ratio = effective length/ least radius of gyration (L /r).

Yes, above all comments is right because there is no correct option given in answer because S.R. = leff/rmin.

Slenderness ratio is the ratio of effective length to the least radius of gyration.

Mathematical =l/r.

Slenderness ratio= ratio of effective length to minimum radius gyration. The above choice is wrong.

No, It's not Radius of Gyration/Effective Length, but it's Effective Length/Radius of Gyration.
