Sand Name = e(min) ---- e(max) = ( Their ratio)
Clayey sand = 0.17 ---- 0.59 =3.47.
Silty sand. = 0.33 ---- 0.98 = 3 (Answer).
Fine sand = 0.40 ---- 0.85 = 2.125.
Course sand = 0.35 ---- 0.75 = 2.14.

For Sand of uniform spherical particle...this ratio is =0.26.
e max =0.91 and e min =0.35.
e max =0.91 and e min =0.35.
