Yes, for continuous beam it's less than 2.5 and for simply supported beam 2.0.

As per IS 256:2000 Page no 51 clause no 29.1 a) A beam shall be deemed to be a deep beam when the ratio of effective span to overall depth, l/d is less than:
1) 2.0 for simply supported; and
2) 2.5 for a continuous beam.
Hence the correct answer will be (D). less than 2.5.
