The Shear reinforcement will be l/4 from supports.
L = 16 ; l/4=16/4 =4 .
shear reinforcement will be near two edges of span = 2*4 =8.
nominal reinforcement = effective - shear = 16 -8 =8m.
L = 16 ; l/4=16/4 =4 .
shear reinforcement will be near two edges of span = 2*4 =8.
nominal reinforcement = effective - shear = 16 -8 =8m.

Nominal reinforcement lenth= effective length/2.
= 16/2=8.
= 16/2=8.
