In case of footing on pile the min thickness at edge is 300 mm.
But in case of isolated footing min thickness at edge is 150 mm.

This is according to IS 456:1978, so the given answer is correct.
And according to IS code 456:2000, then the answer is 30 cm.

Footing on soil = 150 mm.
Footing on pile = 300 mm.

Guys,
it's clearly written footing on pile so basically it should be 300 mm or 30 cm right?
