The Min area of r/f provided in Column is 4% which can be extended up to 6% it kaps are not provided (rang 0.8to *%).

For Longitudinal Reinforcement:-Not less than 0.8% and not more than 6% of the gross-sectional area of the column. ( clause 26.5.3.1, IS:456 2000).
