In the T beam,

Width of the rib is taken between 1/3 to 2/3 of the rib depth.

And the depth is taken between 1/10 to 1/20 of the span.

In T-beam.

Width/depth = 0.5 - 0.75.
Depth of flange/depth = 0.2.
Depth of web or rib/depth = 0.33 - 0.66.
