According to me, it's (700/(0.87fy+1100))*d.

It's actually development length Ld that is asked here, calculate by formula Ld= (0.87*Fy* D)/4* Tbd.

On solving this you get 087*415*D/4*1.2*1.6= 47D. This is for M20 grade.

M15 means 15Mpa (Mega pascal).
15Mpa = 150 bar.
(because 100000 pascal equal to 1 bar).

How this will come? Please explain.

The question is for M15 not M150.
For,
M15 58d
M20 47d
M25 40d
M30 38d In tension

Please explain this question. How it is 58d?

Roy said:   8 years ago
D*130/4*0.6= 58d.
13oN/mm2=stress of mild steel,
And0.6=bond stress of M15 in wsm.

How to calculate 58d?

Please give the correct explanation.

No, length of embedment differs with the diameter of rebar.

How was it come 58d?
