is greater than the depth of critical neutral axis, the concrete attains its maximum stress earlier
is less than the depth of critical neutral axis, the steel in the tensile zone attains its maximum stress earlier
is equal to the depth of critical neutral axis, the concrete and steel attain their maximum stresses simultanesouly
all the above.

Only option A is correct because in question, it is given an over-reinforced beam.

Right @N.C.Gharde.

If ANA>CNA then it is under reinforced and steel reaches its max stress first. So, Only C option is correct.

Greater in case of steel.

Lesser in case of concrete. A & B is incorrect. Only c is the correct option.

A- OVER REINFORCED.
B- UNDER REINFORCED.
C-BALANCED REINFORCED.

Above answer is perfectly right.

It is given three conditions of the neutral axis with compare to the critical axis. Along with its function.

I think option [A] and [B] may be wrong beacause if 'x'actual>'x'critical then it is under reinforcing section please correct me.
