Lane's weighted creep theory assumes
equal weightage to horizontal and vertical creeps
double weightage to horizontal creep and one weightage to vertical creep
triple weightage to horizontal creep and one weightage to vertical creep
triple weightage to vertical creep and one weightage to horizontal creep
double weightage to vertical creep and one weightage to horizontal creep.

We know,
Horizontal factor=1/3 and vertical factor = 1,
Horizontal factor/vertical factor = 1/3,
Horizontal factor=1 and vertical factor=3. Therefore, D is correct.

@Ayaz.

It's just giving more importance to vertical creep.

Option d is correct one. Because, weightage factor of 1/3 for the horizontal creep as against 1. 0 for the vertical creep. Reference Santosh Kumar. Edition 19.

Option e is the correct one. The Weightage factor for vertical creep is 3 times as that of horizontal creep.
