This is for rectangular channel only.
If it is a triangular channel than it is 1.25 hc.
If it is a triangular channel than it is 1.25 hc.

Ec ( specific Energy) = 3/2 yc (critical depth).
Yc = 2/3 Ec.
Yc = 2/3 Ec.
