1 atm=101325 Pa and we know that hydrostatic pressure at a point is P=ρgh. So in a water column,
101325 = 1000 * 9.81 * h.
So, h=10.3 m which is a height of the liquid column.
101325 = 1000 * 9.81 * h.
So, h=10.3 m which is a height of the liquid column.

Std.atm =101.3kn/m2.
= 10.3m(for water) and 760mm for Hg.
