Efficiency = (H-hf)/H.

For max. Power transmission through pipe the condition is hf = H/3.
Substituting the value of hf in efficiency, we get max Efficiency.
Therefore, max. Effi. = [(H-H/3)/H] =1 " (1/3) = 2/3 = 66.67%.
