1st we have to understand the concept of pressure energy.

In Bernoulli's equation pressure head (H/rho)is called pressure energy. This pressure energy is due to the weight of fluid on the fluid itself, which means if there is a bottom surface to the fluid then the fluid will exert force on the fluid at the bottom as p=rho*g*h.

Similarly, in pipe, we exert external pressure through the pump and that's what we call the pressure head. it's something different from elevation head that's is due to the Height of whole fluid from earth surface or Centre of earth. And pressure head is due to the height of fluid from bottom to top surface ( in an open channel system). Now if the fluid is independent in an air or anything means there is no bottom surface so that the fluid mass above that surface exerts pressure that's why the fluid loose that pressure head as having no bottom surface to take the mass of fluid.

Elevation energy is potential energy in simple it takes as if we throw something from as high as possible it will hit at the bottom with the highest force. That's why when something displaces from hight it breaks down. I hope it helps.

@All.

Listen!

These are all forms of energy that a fluid mass can have, depending on its state and conditions.

So, here none of these options are correct in stating that the fluid does not possess these forms of energy.

Elevation energy is different. It is due to some reference point while pressure energy is due to the height of the water in the channel. Both are measured in m.

It's independent mass not any external pressure or internal pressure.

And this mass fluid has elevation so, it posses kinetic and elevation energy.

Agree @ Sanjay.

The answer should be kinetic energy.
