Yes, P=WAX.

Sudarshan Tuwar said:   5 years ago
It is Most suitable Answer is for Vertical. But P=WAX can be used to any surface.

Answer is right, the formula is pAX but the location of acting of pressure varies.

Please explain it.

Here F= WAX.

Therefore irrespective of the angle it is correct for all.

Centre of pressure and centroid coincide only in case of horizontal area.

Hence, the answer is A.

Rajesh saud said:   8 years ago
I think the answer should be A because,

Intensity of pressure always acts at the centre of pressure.

And centre of pressure and centroid are coincide only in case of horizontal area.
