W = (nl^2/2R)+(v/9.5R^1/2).
= (2*6^2/2*42)+(50/9.5^42).
= 1.66m. Here, the option is not given so by approximate the correct answer is option c.

We = Wm + Wps.
We = nl^2/ 2R + V/ [9.5R^(1/2)].
Here,
n = number of traffic lanes.
l = Length of the wheelbase.
V = Design speed in km/h.
R = Radius of the horizontal curve in m.

The formula of extra widening =(NL^2/2R)+0.1 * (v/R^1/2).

@ALL.
Extra winding for hill road (18n/R)+0.1V/R.
Extra winding for hill road (18n/R)+0.1V/R.

Take v is m/sec.

@Mohsinali.
V is in KMPH only in V/9.5r.

The formulae of extra widening = Mechanical widening + Psyclogical widening.
= nl 2/2R +V/9.5 root of radius.
= nl 2/2R +V/9.5 root of radius.

@Gayatri Meesala.
You put V in kmph.
All other units in meters.
So you can change the speed in m/s by multiplying 5/18.
Then you will get the exact answer 1.089m.
