1) Normal Trfc gwth= from year to year increase traffic volume due to an increase in vehicles.

2) Generated Trfc growth = due to construction of new facility which wouldn't have been present otherwise.

3) Development traffic =is that traffic which is due to the improvements in the adjacent area over and above the development which would have taken place had the new highway not been there or had the improvements not taken place on the existing highway.
