Type of road plain terrain hilly road.

1) For concrete & Thick bitumen road 2% 1.7%.

2) Thin bitumen 2.5 % 2%.

3) Wbm road 3% (3.3) 2.5%.

4) Earth road 4% 3%.

Range of camber for thin bitumen surface in hilly areas = 1 in 40 to 1 in 50.

Since it is hilly areas thus it should be 1in 40~2.5 percent.

Because water is to drain out from camber frequently, hence more camber slope is provided.
