Its L/6R.

Shift(S)=L^2/24R.

Max angle of deflection with tangent for the junctions of transition curve and circular curve = 4S.
4S = 4 * L^2/24R = L^2/6R.
Answer = None of These.

Agree @Gubendhiran.

It is 4 times shift.

Ans is L/2R
Because α =l^2/6RL
φ=α/3.

Correct answer should be option B.

The angle of deflection with tangent for the junctions of the transition curve and the circular curve is =L/(6R) or =L^2/(6LR).
