By IS:456 provisions for the beam.

Min tension reinforcement required is given by option A.

Min compression reinforcement = Nil.

IS 456:2000 in clause 26.5.1.1 suggests the following minimum tensile reinforcement for beams:

As = 0.85 bd/fy.

The maximum area of tension reinforcement shall not exceed 0.04bD.
Refer IS456-2000.
