In hoists and EOT two types of deflections are observed.
Vertical deflection = Span /900 = 6000/900 = 6.66mm
Whereas horizontal deflection = 6000/750 = 8mm.
The maximum value is 8mm hence Answer A is correct.

So the above result is 6m = 6000mm.
6000/750 = 8mm.
So the above result is 6m = 6000mm.

For Electric hoist maximum permissible deflection is: L/750.
Hence, 6000/750 = 8 mm.
