Here Power is in HP. Why it is not converted to Watt?
As all units we have taken are either in SI or CGS & No empirical Number is also here.
Please clarify.

(N * square root P)/(H^5/4).
(100 * square root 10^4)/( 40^5/4) = 99.408.
So, the answer is 100.
(100 * square root 10^4)/( 40^5/4) = 99.408.
So, the answer is 100.

Specific Speed : N*sqrt P/ (H)^(5/4) only for turbine. Not for pump.

The speed is already given in question only, i.e speed 100rpm.

By using N * Sqrt P/H^(5/4) the answer 100 is not coming.
