Instantaneous unit hydrograph is a hydrograph attaining peak within a less amount of time.
4-hour unit hydrograph is the hydrograph that attains peak at some time.
As time is INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL TO peak discharge The peak discharge of the instantaneous unit hydrograph of a basin, when compared to the peak discharge of a 4-hour unit hydrograph of that basin is grater.
