If it would have been Curing then it would have been activated.
Cured indicates (past tense = finished).
Any start(S) or finish(F) of an activity is an Event.

(S)----- Concrete Curing----- (F).

All Past verbs mean Events like Cured, Plastered, Excavated because the work is completed which means an event.

So, any action that is in continuation is called activity and that already has been completed is called an event.
