No @Sourabh.

Le chattier Is used for free lime only.

Auto clave can be used for both lime and magnesia. Also it is quantity not quality.

The ability of cement to retain its volume after it gets hardened is known as Soundness of Cement. That means the cement should be at minimum volume change after it gets hardened.

The test conducted to identify the excess amount of lime in cement is known as soundness test of cement.

Le Chateliers method for unsoundness due to Free Lime only.

Autoclaved Method for unsoundness due to both free lime and magnessia.

It should be durability.

Which is a more accurate method for soundness test?

The Le-chatlier's Method helps us to determine the lime present in the cement in excess. The excess lime causes expansion of cement.

A soundness test is used to know the resistance agency weathering action. In open weather conditions how much amount cemented material expands or shrinks.

Soundness of cement shows the quality of cement in perspective of volume changes.

When referring to portland cement, "soundness" refers to the ability of a hardened cement paste to retain its volume after setting without delayed destructive expansion (PCA, 1988).

This destructive expansion is caused by excessive amounts of free lime (CaO) or magnesia (MgO).
