It is a metamorphic rock as per Geological siliceous rock. The sandstone converted to Quartzite due to metamorphism.

As per chemical siliceous rock Quartzite is siliceous rock.

You can say that Quartzite rock is metamorphic but ortho quartz is a pure form of quartz and its contain 99% amount of sio2 so its more convenient to say that its a silicious rock if.

We have to choose one answer to out of 4.

Quartzite (from German: Quarzit) is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Sandstone is converted into quartzite through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic compression within orogenic belts.
