According to Nepal Standard code the brick should not absorb water more than 15 %.

As per old code it is 20% but as latest is code it is 12-15%.

2nd class - 22%
3rd class - 25%
Those who are telling 15% is the ans, based on SSC JE ans key, but actual book has written 20%. So the given ans is correct.

As per IS 1077-1973,
For first class bricks, the water absorption capacity should not be more than 20% by weight.
For first class bricks, the water absorption capacity should not be more than 20% by weight.
